Architectural Histories Fellows

Posted by OLH Janeway on 2021-11-04

Architectural Histories is pleased to announce an open call for two Junior Fellowships, both of which will be awarded to advanced master’s or early stage-PhD students who demonstrate a commitment to the journal’s ambition to diversify our content and audience. The Fellowships will last one calendar year and each prize is worth €2000.

The Junior Fellows will collaborate with the Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Assistant of Architectural Histories, as well as members of the editorial board, in order to gain an understanding of how a field journal operates. Both Fellowships will provide an overview of editorial processes and opportunities to participate in the development of exciting new initiatives.

Two Fellowships are being offered:

- The Fellow in Diversity and Inclusion will interact with the Editor-in-Chief on a weekly basis and will acquire an overview of how the journal operates. They will also collaborate on a workshop focussing on mentoring rising editors that is planned for the summer of 2022.

- The Social Media Fellow will collaborate directly with the Editorial Assistant to design and implement strategies that support the dissemination of Architectural Histories’ content in social media, particularly on Instagram, in addition to new diversity and inclusion initiatives.
